They provide a safe and effective method to gather high-definition imagery of roofs and other areas where damage can occur. This intensive Workshop will teach students how to safely and effectively maneuver their aircraft in order to gather and analyze the data necessary for a successful inspection.

Guest Speaker Wayne Baker of 460-Ops
Wayne Baker is a 24 year veteran of the fire service and is currently a full time Fire Chief/Emergency Management Coordinator. Throughout his career he has consistently sought out new technology that can save the lives of the public as well as public safety personnel. Over the past three years he has operated UAS on numerous fires, rescues incidents, lost victim searches, and has assisted on law enforcement operations. He has also developed several training courses, as well as tactics and policies that will help departments utilize this new technology to enhance public safety. He also serves as a member of the North Central Texas Public Safety UAS Response Team (PSURT). Wayne Baker currently operates UAS under Public Safety COAs and is an FAA licensed UAS Remote Pilot.
